Well hello you lovely lot. We all hope that you’re starting to feel festive and merry, the boys here certainly are.
We’ve had an absolutely stellar year that’s beyond our wildest dreams really;
We had an incredible summer of festivals; including headline slots and a slot at Glastonbury
We’ve had a plethora of amazing gigs; including the hottest gig in the world at London Theatre Workshop
We’ve sold T-shirts and CD’s to numerous countries; including America, Holland and Japan
Our following on Facebook and Twitter has soared
…and many more things
We can’t thank you guys enough for this, without your incredible support we’d just be a group of musicians playing in Paul’s outhouse still. If we’ve met you over our travels, then I’m sure we passed on our gratitude, but if not we look forward to our paths crossing in the New Year so that we can say a big thank you.
We’ve got a whole host of things planned for 2015, so hopefully with your support we will be able to make it blow 2014 out of the water;
In November we returned to the might Cotton Mouth Studios to record our third EP. Never before has as Seniors recording had so many instruments on it, we’re so excited to get it out there! We still need to mix, master and produce it, so keep your eyes and ears open around Springtime
We have a few gigs up our sleeves so that we can see your lovely faces; we’ll keep you posted, don’t fret
We’ll also be gigging more with our amazing violinist; Tess. Yes that’s right, when Phil is on double bass we actually will have a string triplet!
Just before we leave you to your mince pies and turkey, I’m going to have to break your hearts…the Big Dog himself is now engaged to be married, he’s no longer on the market ladies! The rest of the band are over the moon and there could not be a more wonderful person than his fiancé, Meera.
Well, with that happy news, all that’s left to say is another giant THANK YOU for your continued support and see you in 2015 you Wild Wizards.
Phil and the rest of The Seniors xxx
